Description
This industry leading coupler features plastic standard coupler with metal knuckle, and #634 standard centering spring and comes complete with insulated draft gearbox and lid. The#28 Magne-Matic® Plastic Coupler may be mounted with the included #213 or #232 Gearbox or with most other manufacturers cast-on coupler pockets.
The #28 Coupler is the plastic equivalent to the NO.5® Metal Coupler.
It is not recommended to use a metal coupler directly on a metal surface or in a metal draft gearbox to avoid possible electrical crossover and shorting that may cause damage.

| To check coupler height, set the coupler into the talgo truck pocket and hold it level as possible and check the coupler height with a #205 or newer #206 HO coupler height gauge. | |
