Website Updates: What’s New!

🔐 Updated User Accounts

We’ve upgraded our account system to make logging in more secure and convenient!

  • When you sign in using the email on your Trains in the Valley account, you’ll now receive a one-time login code.

  • This replaces the need for a traditional password and adds an extra layer of security.

Account Credit Is Now Available!
With this upgrade, we can now issue store credit directly to your account.

This means:

  • When combining shipments, we no longer need to issue gift card promo codes.

  • You’ll see your available credit right inside your account and can apply it to future purchases.

  • This also makes store credit (for those selling collections to us) much simpler and smoother.

💛 Wishlist Is Here!

One of our most requested features is finally live — and we’re excited to share it with you!

We held off on adding this feature until now because:

  1. The Wishlist functionality is a paid upgrade through our website host, and we wanted to make sure we had a large enough customer base to make it a smart investment for us.

  2. It required an account upgrade (completed this week!).

  3. It took time to build, test, and customize for our store.

How to Use Your Wishlist

  • Look for the heart icon in the top-right corner of our website (between “Login” and the cart).

  • When logged in, you can click the heart to view your wishlist anytime.

  • On product pages, you’ll now see a “Add to Wishlist” button below “Add to Cart.”

  • On our homepage and category pages, you can also tap the small heart on each item to save it for later.

This makes it easier than ever to track items you want to buy in the future!

Bonus Feature:
We (Corey & Victoria) can also add items to your wishlist on your behalf.
If there’s something you’re searching for and we find it, we can place it right into your wishlist so you don’t miss it.

🚂 More Improvements Coming Soon

We’re excited to bring you these much-needed upgrades, and we hope they make your experience smoother and more enjoyable. Thank you for being part of our Trains in the Valley family — we truly appreciate your support and look forward to serving you even more!
